Masque and Mime is my school's drama club, which I am very actively involved in, and started again today for the year. Today was the first general meeting, which was really fun. I got to see all my friends from last year and I was able to pick out the freshman haha. By the way there are A LOT of! About half way through the meeting Jake asks me to go and make copies, and as ASM I am oh so happy to do! After I return with the copies the director is naming the ASM's a.k.a. Me and my best friend Saadia, yay!!!!! I'm so excited to be working with her and Jake this year. I love being ASM, well almost all the time, I have had so much fun hanging out with Jake and staying really late for lighting. Oh boy where to I start.....
Any ways, I return with the copies and sit down and finish listening to what the officers had to say and finishing my history homework. With that all done another person asks me for copies, no problem! That one is done and when I return the director asks me to make copies of the script for people auditioning. Sweet!! I love the copier! I go and make copies and my fellow ASM joins me for some fun copying! Trying to make these copies were rather confusing. They way they were marked, numbered and organized was difficult to figure out at first. The copier did not want to work right, and having to wait for four teachers to use the copier while i was there, I was able to go back down and see that the meeting was over and everyone left and were waiting for the buses. Whoops :P I organized the sets and put them away and left. Kristin and my mom were wait in the car for me and it was almost 4pm. I explained to Kristin that this normally happens because I need to do things and I normally don't finish in time to make the late bus.
I just wanted to share with everyone how the first masque and mime meeting went for me and all the trees I wasted :(
Still no news from ASSE. I did not receive the new paperwork yet, but hopefully that will arrive in my mail box soon!
