I want to start off by telling you something about my exchange trip. (the real reason for this blog) I got a call from ASSE about a week or so ago saying I didn't get the scholarship, and that's all they said. So after the women hung up, I just cried and then did something else to stop thinking about it. I was really bummed about not getting it, but i just said whatever and talked with my Italian teacher about writing letters asking for scholarships, which we are doing Friday.
Today after the Masque and Mime meeting, I went to check my email to respond to the limo guy for prom (more on that later) and I see this email from the ASSE lady, Nancy, for my area. I open the email and click the attachment, and guess what, I HAVE A HOST FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am super excited and I have so many questions for them and I am going to write them an email soon. Its a weird feeling cause I have a host family and its sooo real now!! In a few months I will be living in Italy!!!!

my papa has past away, I don't know when/how long ago
They have outside pets. I am going to a scientific school, which I'm going to suck at cause chem and physics here is hard, but in Italian, kill me know!! (not really because I have a host family!!!) I will be living in Valle di Maddaloni in southern Italy near Naples. I will be sharing a room with Cristina and I going to email them, and try not sucking at Italian too much.
PROM:
Prom is May 14th, I am going with one of my best friends whom I will miss soooo much when I go to live with my host family. The dress I thought I was going to get, broke so I'm sending it back. I ordered a new one from this local bridal shop, its sky blue. I ordered my shoes today. And I am trying to arrange a limo.
Nothing really exciting going on in my life, except my host family.
